Sean Hannity is hoping he will fare better at the box office than the major movie studios.
The Fox News star is executive-producing — i.e. financing — “Let There Be Light,” starring Kevin Sorbo as a cynical atheist who finds God after a near-death experience.
The movie, directed by Sorbo and co-written by his wife, Sam Sorbo, opens wide Oct. 27.
“I’m probably going to lose my shirt,” Hannity said at a Police Athletic League luncheon on Tuesday attended by David Dinkins, John Catsimatidis, chairman of the New York state Republican party Ed Cox, lawyer Arthur Aidala and private eye Joe Mullen. “I have no idea what I’m doing.”
